The
traditional method of manufacture, with doors and drawers
closing into a front frame suited this barn conversion perfectly.
As hinges are seen on this style of kitchen, simple butt hinges
are expertly hand chopped into the beading on the frame. Doors
are then expertly mounted into the frame giving a consistently
equal gap all round.
This kitchen was hand-painted after the units had been fitted
in Buttersilk, giving a contrast against the dark granite
worktops and solid oak. |
